Jenn Brewton joined San Diego State Athletics in a full-time capacity in 2012 and has performed a number of duties in her time on The Mesa.
Brewton's tenure started with Athletics' fundraising arm, the Aztec Club, where she was a development coordinator. During her 12 months, Brewton managed databases and major donor biographies before moving on to become the department's senior athletics coordinator. In her new role, which she held from 2013-15, Brewton provided direct administrative support to the athletic director, deputy athletic director and the athletics executive staff. She was also in charge of implementation and day-to-day operations for the athletics administration.
In the summer of 2015, Brewton rejoined the Aztec Club as its special events coordinator. In her second stint, Brewton develops and manages all event logistics, and is the lead contact for 100 donor events that provide alumni, donors and fans a vehicle for continued support of SDSU Athletics. She has also solicited private contributions and secured event sponsorships, and annual scholarship gifts to help increase annual revenue numbers. Her efforts in 2016 helped the Aztec Club raise a record $5.7 million in revenue and gift securement.
Brewton was elevated to director of the Aztec Club in the summer of 2017. Her responsibilities include front-line fundraising for new Aztec Club members and obtaining new season ticket holders. She also assists with the management of the Aztec Club Board of Directors, the Aztec Varsity Club and the Aztec Football Legacy.
Brewton also spent time with the San Diego Chargers as a game operations assistant from 2012-15.
Brewton earned her bachelor's degree in recreation administration, sports and entertainment facility management from Fresno State in 2011.
