Emerged as one of the top leadoff men in the Mountain West Conference in 2005...Earned second-team all-West Region honors last season and was a first-team all-Mountain West Conference selection...Local prep standout who came to San Diego State after one season at nearby Grossmont Junior College...Was drafted in the 25th round by the Atlanta Braves out of high school in 2003.
