In the championship game went 2.1 innings surrendering no runs on three hits with no walks … First start came in the middle game of the series at Nevada on April 12 … Longest appearance was 5.2 innings of relief against Air Force on April 5 when he allowed no runs on four hits with a walk and four strikeouts while recording a win … Longest start was 5.1 innings vs. UC Riverside on April 15 (no runs, two hits, three walks, four strikeouts) … His four strikeouts in that game were a season high matching the total he had in the contest vs. Air Force … Compiled a record of 4-1 with a 1.07 earned run average in games at Tony Gwynn Stadium this season (seven appearances, two starts) … Notched his first career save as an Aztec in the win at Fresno State on May 17 tossing the final 3.2 innings allowing no hits and just two base runners (walk, error) … Opponents hit just .222 against him.
