Versatile athlete who redshirted in 2016 ... Has played first base, shortstop, third and in the outfield over his previous three seasons as an Aztec ... Will likely see most of his playing time at shortstop in 2017 ... Played for the Holly Springs (N.C.) Salamanders of the Coastal Plain League during the summer of 2016 ... Batted .301 with nine doubles, five home runs, 27 runs scored and 29 RBI ... Competed for the Kitsap Bluejackets of the West Coast League during summer 2013 ... Batted .273 with eight doubles, a home run, 15 RBI, 23 runs scored and eight stolen bases ... Played 2012 summer ball for San Gabriel Valley Arsenal ...
