Versatile athlete who saw time at second base, shortstop and in the outfield in his first season at San Diego State last year...Also made one appearance at third base...Was an all-state junior college performer at both positions.

SDSU 2003: Made his debut at the plate in contest at Miami on Feb 23, doubling to left field in his first collegiate start on Feb. 23 at Miami ...Went 2-for-3 in that contest with a run batted in...Made 15 starts during the year...Did not commit an error while plating second base (30 chances)...In back-to-back game at Utah, went 5-for-8 (.625)...Batted .333 in conference play...Was errorless in 44 chances in the 15 league games in which he played.

Junior College: Played two seasons at Palomar College in San Marcos, Calif, under coach Bob Vetter...Second-team all-state, first-team all-Southern California and first-team all-Pacific Coast Conference shortstop in 2002... Batted .390 over 43 games with 40 runs, 15 doubles and 24 runs batted in...As a freshman at Palomar, was a second-team all-state outfielder after hitting .374 with 37 runs, 14 doubles and 23 RBI...Also a first-team all-Southern California and all-PCC selection...During his two-year career, batted .382 overall and .390 in league contests.
