Named a preseason second-team All-American by the National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association of America ... Saw most of his action in the outfield as a sophomore in 2010 after playing mainly at first base as a freshman ... Will likely start in right field this season ... Played during summers of 2009 and 2010 for the La Crosse Loggers of the Northwoods League....
