Swaydan then scored on Jake McLintock's single to right.

In the bottom of the inning, the Vulcan's put a man on second with one out, but closer Ryan Schroyer came on to get a groundout and strikeout to retire the side. With one out, James Guerrero drew a walk and went to second on a single by Jordan Swaydan, his third hit of the afternoon.
