Friday Baseball at St. Mary's Postponed

Mike RoBards will get the start in Saturday's contest at St. Mary's.

MORAGA, Calif. - Friday's baseball game between San Diego State and St. Mary's in Moraga, Calif., has been postponed due to inclement weather.

The Aztecs and Gaels will attempt to play a single game on Saturday (Mar. 1) at 1:00 p.m. in lieu of the previously scheduled doubleheader. The teams have then scheduled a twin bill for Sunday (Mar. 2) with the first game slated to get underway at 10:00 a.m.

Junior left-hander Mike Robards (1-1 4.26) will get the start for SDSU in Saturday's contest with Sunday's starting pitchers expected to be Bubba Derby (0-0, 1.74) and Mark Seyler (2-0, 3.95).

Entering the weekend with a record of 6-2, San Diego State is off to its best start since the 1997 campaign when it opened with 14 wins in tis first 16 contests.
