SAN DIEGO, Calif. - The San Diego State baseball team will holds its third annual Halloween Game on Tuesday, Oct. 30, at Tony Gwynn Stadium. Coaches and players will all be in costume for the five-inning contest, which is scheduled to get underway at 6:00 p.m.

There is no charge for admission and fans who attend will receive special Halloween treats during the course of the game.

The Aztecs are midway through their fall practice season as they gear up for their 2013 campaign. Tuesday's game will give the team a break from the normal practice routine and a chance for fans to enjoy a fun evening of baseball

SDSU returns 24 letterwinners from a year ago including its top eight hitters led by second baseman Tim Zier (.318) and outfielder Greg Allen (.312). The Aztecs also have two of their starting pitchers back in Michael Cederoth (4-4, 4.14) and Ryan Doran (3-6, 4.50) along with closer Justin Hepner (5-3, 2.94). The Aztecs have added a group of 12 newcomers that includes two all-state honorees and a league pitcher of the year.

San Diego State will open its 2013 season against the University of San Diego on Friday, Feb. 15, at 6:00 p.m. at USD's new Fowler Park.
