    A Tough Night

    San Diego State shoots 28.8 percent from the field tonight. SDSU won that game, 69-64, in overtime. Tonight marked just the eighth time since 1996 that SDSU has shot lower than 30 percent from the field. The Aztecs are 1-7 in those games.

Nonetheless, he reaches double figures for the fifth straight game, the 16th time this season and the 46th time in his career...     Stephens pulled down a team-high seven rebounds, his highest total since grabbing eight boards against San Francisco (12-22-12)... His seven points represented his second highest scoring output in his last seven games (10 at Fresno State).
