• SDSU has its 20-game winning streak broken. The streak matched the school record and the Mountain West record established by the Aztecs in 2010-11.
• The Aztecs' school-record 10-game conference winning streak has been stopped.
• San Diego State was one win short of tying the best MW start in league history. Utah started 11-0 in 2003-04.
• The Aztecs had its 10-game road/neutral winning streak snapped. It was one shy of the school record.
• SDSU had its four-game Mountain time zone winning streak broken.

Series Notes

• San Diego State falls to 8-26 all-time in Laramie.
• Under Steve Fisher, the Aztecs are 18-15 all-time. The Cowboys lead the all-time series, 39-35.
• Even with the loss, SDSU has won six of the last eight against Wyoming.

It was his 12th career game with at least 10 points...Led team in scoring for the first time of his Aztec career... Matched his career high with a trio of three-pointers... Had five rebounds, which is one more than he had in his previous four games combined... His two steals were one off a career high and he now has five in his last two games.

Xavier Thames - 13 points, 2 rebounds, 2 assists, 1 steal
Became the 29th player in school history and the 12th player in the Steve Fisher era to score 1,000 points in their Aztec career... Reached double figures in scoring for the 13th straight game, 21st time this season and 53rd time of his career... The 13 straight double-figure scoring performances extends a career long... Led the team in assists for the 14th time this season (42nd career)... Was 7-for-9 from the free-throw line.

JJ O'Brien - 11 points, 6 rebounds, 1 assist
Scored in double figures for the first time since the Air Force game, which was the third game of the Mountain West season... It was his seventh double-figure scoring effort of the season and 26th of his career... Had six rebounds, marking the four straight games in which he has had at least five.

Josh Davis - 10 points, 9 rebounds, 2 steals
Reached double figures in scoring for the 11th time this season and for the 63rd time in his career... Had nine rebounds, his most since suffering a right knee injury prior to the home game vs. Colorado State... Led the team in scoring for the 18th time this season... His two steals were one off a career high.

Winston Shepard - 10 points, 4 rebounds, 2 assists, 1 blocked shot, 2 steals
Reached double figures in scoring for the 17th time this season and 23rd time of his career... Led the team in assists with two for the seventh time this season (23rd career)... Had two steals, which matched his total from the previous four games combined.
