Team Notes
• San Diego State wins its second consecutive game, third straight road game, fourth straight non-conference road game and sixth straight regular-season game against a non-top 25 team.
• San Diego State improves to 22-5 in road games since March 6, 2010. That is the fourth best record in the nation during that span (trailing Wichita State, Kansas and Murray State).
• Despite playing Missouri State only twice since the 2006-07 season, the Aztecs have handed the Bears two of their last 21 home defeats. Since Feb. 24, 2007, San Diego State is 2-0 at Missouri State, while the rest of the country is a combined 19-68.
• San Diego State becomes just the third non-conference visitor to win at JQH Arena since the beginning of the 2009-10 campaign. The Aztecs join Oklahoma State and Old Dominion as visiting teams from outside the Valley to claim a win during that span.
• San Diego State's 16-point victory over Missouri State at JQH Arena represents the largest margin of victory ever for a visiting team in venue history. The Bears, which started playing in the facility in 2008-09, previous widest margin of defeat was 13 points against Utah (Nov. 28, 2008) and Indiana State (Feb. 22, 2012).
• San Diego State hands Missouri State its widest margin of defeat at home since Wichita State recorded an 81-63 victory at the Hammons Student Center on Dec. 13, 2003.
• San Diego State ended the game with a +18 rebound margin (52-34). The Aztecs are 46-5 in the last 51 games when outrebounding their opponent.
• The Aztecs held Missouri State to 28.1 percent shooting. It is the second time this season San Diego State has held the opposition to 35 percent or less from the field. The Aztecs are 126-15 in the Steve Fisher era when limiting the opponent to 40 percent or less from the field.
• The 44 points allowed by San Diego State were the fewest surrendered by the Aztecs since Jan. 24, 2012, when SDSU defeated Wyoming 52-42.
• San Diego State had the same starting five players for the third consecutive game.
• San Diego State missed its first 10 three-point field goal attempts of the game and at that point was 5-for-47 (10.6 percent) from bonus distance this season.

Series Notes
• San Diego State leads the all-time series with Missouri State, 3-2. The Aztecs have won three straight in the series.
• The Aztecs improve to 10-29 against current Missouri Valley members. The Aztecs have won five of their last six encounters with the Missouri Valley Conference.
Steve Fisher improves top 2-0 against Missouri State and 7-1 against members of the Missouri Valley Conference.

Program Notes
• When ranked in the AP Top 25, San Diego State is 51-10 overall and 48-5 when playing a team from outside the top 25.
• San Diego State is 68-4 in its last 72 games against teams not ranked in the USA Today Coaches' Top 25 Poll.
• San Diego State has won 71 consecutive games when leading with five minute to play in regulation.
• San Diego State is 25-2 in its last 27 road games against non-top 25 teams.
• San Diego State has won 14 straight games when leading at the half.
• This marks the 10th consecutive season that the Aztecs have owned a winning record after three games.
