#AztecMBB Up To No. 7 In Both AP And USA Today Coaches Polls

SAN DIEGO - The San Diego State men's basketball team moved up three positions in the Associated Press poll and four spots in the USA Today Coaches poll and is now ranked seventh in both major polls released Monday.
This marks the Aztecs' highest ranking of the season and its highest rating since the final regular-season poll of the 2010-11 campaign. San Diego State is ranked for an eighth consecutive week and is in the AP Top 10 for a second straight week. This is the 51st week in school history the Aztecs have been ranked in the Associated Press Top 25.
San Diego State has a pair of road games this week, playing at San Jose State on Wednesday (live coverage: ESPN3, The Mighty 1090) and at Utah State on Saturday (live coverage: ESPNU, The Mighty 1090).
The Aztecs enter Wednesday's game having won 38 straight games against teams from the state of California (2nd longest active streak in the country by any team against any one state since 1996-97 season), 15 straight games overall (2nd longest streak in school history, 4th longest active streak nationally), eight straight games against Pacific time zone opponents (tied for 3rd longest streak nationally), eight straight January games (tied for 3rd longest streak nationally), seven straight road/neutral games (3rd longest streak in school history; tied for 2nd longest streak nationally) and five straight conference games (14th nationally).
