Three #AztecMBB Games to be Televised on FSSD

SAN DIEGO - Three San Diego State men's basketball games will be televised live on Fox Sports San Diego this season, the network announced on Friday.

Aztecs home games against San Diego Christian and St. Katherine College, as well as their road matchup against San Diego will all be shown on FSSD. With this announcement, all but one San Diego State men's basketball games this season will be broadcast live, including 13 on ESPN networks, 10 on CBS Sports Network, two on 4SD and one on CBS.

SDSU's home game against San Diego Christian is Wednesday, Nov. 20, beginning at 7:30 p.m. PT, while its game at USD is Thursday, Dec. 5, starting at 8 p.m. The home game against St. Katherine College is set for Friday, Dec. 27, at 7 p.m.

In addition, San Diego State's season opener at Viejas Arena against UC Riverside on Friday, Nov. 8, has been scheduled for a start time of 7 p.m. PT.

Eddie Doucette will have the play-by-play call for all three SDSU games, while San Diego State two-time All-American Michael Cage will provide analysis for both Aztec home games. Laura McKeeman will handle sideline reporting duties.

San Diego State has won seven Mountain West championships and is one of 10 teams to advance to the last four NCAA tournaments and win at least 23 games in each of those seasons. The Aztecs have won three NCAA tournament games in the past three seasons, advancing to the Sweet 16 in 2011.
