The San Diego State men's basketball team opens its 2011-12 slate this Friday as it plays host to the Basketball Travelers Classic at Viejas Arena. Here you will find notes about the weekend along with some other information.

UC Davis vs. Southern Utah - 4:30 p.m. PT
Bryant at San Diego State - 7:30 p.m. PT
Prior to the Bryant at SDSU game, San Diego State will unveil three banners in the Viejas Arena rafters. There will be a banner honoring the 2011 Mountain West regular-season championship, the MWC tournament title and the Aztecs' appearance in the NCAA Sweet 16.

Prior to the UC Davis at SDSU game, the Aztecs will present former San Diego State standout forward Kawhi Leonard with his All-America award and his Mountain West championship ring. Last spring, Leonard was the 15th overall pick in the NBA Draft.
Fewer than 600 tickets remain for Friday's season-opening game against Bryant and similar quantities remain for the Saturday and Sunday contests. That being said, there are some great seats still available. For example, on Thursday morning, a pair of tickets in the eighth row remained for the opener. Tickets are available 24 hours a day at GoAztecs.com.

TicketExchange is the official secondary ticket market for San Diego State athletics. Fans have the opportunity to purchase seats from SDSU season ticket holders for all games throughout the season. Ticket prices are determined by the seller. As of Thursday morning, approximately 100 tickets were available on the site, starting at $22.
