Dec. 29, 2013
SAN DIEGO - The San Diego State men's basketball game scheduled for next Sunday, Jan. 5, at Kansas is set for a 1:30 p.m. PT (3:30 p.m. CT) start and will be televised nationally by CBS.
The matchup between No. 20/20 San Diego State, 10-1 and winners of nine consecutive games, and No. 16/16 Kansas, 8-3 overall and winners of 33 of its last 34 home games, will be shown following the San Diego at Cincinnati NFL AFC Wild Card game. Spero Dedes and Doug Gottlieb will have the call for the game, which will be shown to the entire country.
The game against the Jayhawks at Allen Field House, is the second contest of a challenging three-game stretch. Beginning Wednesday, the Aztecs play three games in three different time zones against teams that played in the 2013 NCAA tournament. That stretch starts Jan. 1, with the conference opener at Colorado State, which can be seen on CBS Sports Network, and concludes a week from Wednesday, Jan. 8, at home against Boise State.
