Monday through Thursday 9:00 am - 4:00 pm
Session 1: June 26 - June 29, 2017 Check in begins at 8 a.m. on Monday, June 26.
Session 2: August 1 - 4, 2017 Check in begins at 8 a.m. on Monday, August 1.
$375.00 per camper per session. $300.00 is signed up by April 7.
LOCATION and PARKING
A campus map is available at https://sunspot.sdsu.edu/map/. Purchase a parking pass at a yellow designated box inside Parking Structure 7 (corner of 55th St. and Montezuma); $2 for 1 hour. Unfortunately, for all of us, University Police issue citations and fines 24/7 to vehicles not displaying a valid pass. Thanks for your cooperation.
8:30-8:45 a.m. Campers dropped off at the Aztec Recreation Center - next door to Viejas Arena
9 a.m. Roll call.
9:15-11:45 a.m. Stretch, warm-up, and station work. The focus will be on a variety of skills including dribbling, passing, shooting, and defensive skills. We will teach concepts of how to play the game: pass and cut, move the ball, and see both man and ball on defense.
11:45 a.m.-1 p.m. Lunch. Coaches eat with campers who bring lunches and escort and supervise others in dorm cafeteria.
1:15-3:45 p.m. Clinics featuring guest speakers, rounds of teaching sessions, and 5 on 5 games.
4 p.m. Campers dismissed.
WAIVER and HEALTH INSURANCE
The waiver of liability is required for every camper and must be signed by the camper's parent or guardian before he is allowed to participate in any camp activities. Each camper must provide his own insurance and complete the medical release form. The form will be emailed to attendees.
Refunds will be given up to the day before the start of camp minus an administrative fee of $25. Refunds will not be given for no-shows. Full refunds will only be given if a camp is cancelled or if there are special circumstances.
