    Made the switch from offensive line to tight end for the 2013 season ... A good blocker, who continues to get better at catching the ball ... Is considered to be one of the top tight end blockers in the Mountain West ... Has improved dramatically since he arrived on campus ... Former walk-on, who earned a scholarship after the spring semester of 2015.

    JUNIOR SEASON (2015)
    Was named a Pro Football Focus honorable-mention All-American ... Also chosen as an honorable-mention all-Mountain West selection by the league's media and head coaches ... Started all 14 games at tight end, recording 10 catches for 112 yards (11.2 avg.) and two touchdowns ... The two receiving touchdowns tied for third on the team ... Earned the start in the opener vs. San Diego, but did not record a stat ... Had two catches for 37 yards (18.5 avg.) at California, including a 29-yard touchdown grab ... The 37 yards were a career high ... Made another start vs. South Alabama and came up with a 25-yard grab ... Started again at Penn State without finding the stat sheet ... Did not record a stat in another start vs. Fresno State ... Started at Hawai`i, where he had a 5-yard catch ... Played once again off the bench against Idaho without finding the stat sheet ...Recorded his first career touchdown catch - a 6-yarder - off the bench at Boise State ... The catch gave SDSU its largest lead of the game at 20-0 ... Made his third start of the season against Air Force, but did not record a stat ... Started again vs. San Jose State without finding the stat sheet ... Saw time off the bench vs. Navy in the Poinsettia Bowl, but did not make the stat sheet.

    Played in all 13 games as a redshirt freshman without recording a stat ... Saw action mainly as the blocking tight end ... Played in his first collegiate game in the opener vs. Eastern Illinois ... Also logged action at Ohio State, vs. Oregon State, at New Mexico State, vs. Nevada, at Air Force, vs. Fresno State, vs. New Mexico, at San José State, at Hawai'i, vs. Boise State, at UNLV and against Buffalo in the Famous Idaho Potato Bowl.
