A big body who worked from a backup at right guard after the 2013 spring drills to a starter entering the Ohio State game in the second contest of the 2013 season, where he has remained since ... Is listed once again as the starter at right guard heading into the 2015 season ... Has started each of the past 25 games.

2015: Has been named a preseason first-team Mountain West selection by Phil Steele, Lindy’s Sports and ESPN College Football Preview, and a second-team pick by Athlon Sports ... Was also deemed the “Mountain West’s Best Run Blocker” by Lindy’s.

2014: Was named an honorable-mention all-Mountain West selection by the league’s media and head coaches ... Also was named to the MW preseason fourth team by Phil Steele ... Started all 13 games for the Aztecs at right guard ... Made this 13th consecutive start at right guard in the opener vs. NAU ...
