2000: Had an outstanding junior campaign, starting all 11 games at strong safety ... Finished second on the team and sixth in the Mountain West with 97 tackles, including 51 solo stops ... Led the Aztecs in tackles for loss with 15 for minus 30 yards, including a seven-yard sack ... Tackle-for-loss total ranked fifth in the MWC ... Began SDSU?s comeback at New Mexico with a 43-yard interception return for touchdown ... Other interception came versus Utah ... Also credited with five pass break-ups, a forced fumble and a fumble recovery at Wyoming ... Finished the year with four double-digit tackle performances ... 1997: Arrived on the San Diego State campus in the fall, but did not join the football program until the spring ... Later picked up a redshirt for the school year. High School: Was a heavily decorated prepster in Palmdale ... An all-conference football and basketball player ... Other gridiron honors included first-team all-Los Angeles Times and second-team by the Los Angeles Daily News ... Was a two-way star at Highland ...
