San Diego State vs. Colorado State

The Aztecs traveled to Fort Collins, CO to take on the Rams on Saturday.

A big body who worked up to a starting role at center after 2015 spring and fall drills ... Moved to center in the spring of 2015 after practicing as a guard his first three seasons at San Diego State.

2015: Started all 14 games at center ... Started the opener vs. San Diego, having never played in a collegiate game ... Was one of only two Aztecs (LB Ryan Dunn) who’s first career start in 2015 came in his first career game ... Was one of three to make their first career start on the offensive line vs. USD ... Also started at California, and again vs. South Alabama, at Penn State, against Fresno State, at Hawai‘i, at San José State, against Utah State, at Colorado State, against Wyoming, at UNLV, against Nevada, vs. Air Force in the Mountain West Championship game and against Cincinnati in the Hawai‘i Bowl.

2014: Did not play in a game during the 2014 season.

2013: Did not play during the 2013 campaign.

2012: Utilized his redshirt season in 2012.

High School: Offensive tackle, who was the ninth-ranked recruit out of the state of Colorado by ESPNU ... As a senior, was a first-team all-state and all-conference honoree at Mullen High School under coach Dave Logan ... Mustangs won state his first three seasons ... Ranked No. 14 in the Rivals 2012 Colorado preseason top 15 recruits ... Earned a Scouts, Inc. grade of 77 and was a three-star recruit by both ESPN.com and Scout.com ...
