Came back strong in 2013 after missing the 2012 campaign with an injury ... One of four current Aztecs to prep at Oceanside High ... Is listed as the back-up defensive tackle heading into the fall.

2013: Played in his first four games of his collegiate career, registering one assisted tackle ... His collegiate debut came against Fresno State off the bench ... Recorded his first tackle the following week vs. New Mexico ... Also played at San José State and at Hawai'i.

2012: Missed the entire season with a foot injury, but did earn the team's Defensive Co-Scout Player-of-the-Year award.

2011: Did not log any snaps as a redshirt.

2010: Did not play his first year on campus.

High School: Earned four letters in football with the final two at nearby powerhouse Oceanside High ... Team went 26-0-1 over his final two seasons ... Named a first-team all-CIF selection and second-team all-North County pick after his senior year ... Was a three-time honorable mention all-league pick ... Also played volleyball and was a member of the track & field team at Oceanside ... Finished fourth in the shot put at the CIF championships.
