At Kentucky (2011-13): Appeared in 21 games with 11 starts at quarterback at Kentucky from 2011-13, battling injuries along the way ... Originally signed with Kentucky in the spring of 2010, but grayshirted until January 2011 ... Was 292- for-486 (60.1 pct.) for 3,070 yards over his career, passing for 21 touchdowns against just nine interceptions ... Led UK with 1,276 passing yards and nine touchdowns with just one interception in 2013, going 105-for-183 (57.4 pct.) ... Had a great game vs. Miami (Ohio), throwing for 310 yards and three touchdowns, completing 15 of 23 attempts ... Included in the 310 yards was a 88-yard touchdown pass, the fourth longest in UK history ... Threw for 254 yards and two touchdowns against Tennessee ... Had only one interception in 183 pass attempts in 2013, which was an SEC record for lowest ratio of interceptions in a season (was broken by South Carolina's Connor Shaw that same season) ... As a sophomore in 2012, was 103-for-150 (68.7 pct.) for 975 yards and eight touchdowns before an ankle injury sidelined him for the season ... Had been averaging 322 yards per game over the three full contests he had played before the injury ... Best outing of 2012 was a 354-yard, fourtouchdown effort vs. Kent State, going 30- for-39 ... Completed a career-high 37 passes vs. Western Kentucky ... Earned Freshman All-SEC honors as a true freshman in 2011, completing 84-of-153 (54.9 pct.) passes for 819 yards and four touchdowns ... Started three games, playing in eight altogether ... Was named the SEC Freshman of the Week for his play vs. Ole Miss, when he was 19- for-36 for 283 yards, two touchdowns and no interceptions ... The 283 yards set a school record for most passing yards by a true freshman ... Threw at least one touchdown in all three of his starts.
High School: Played his senior season at Birmingham High School in Van Nuys, Calif. ... Threw for approximately 2,500 yards and 24 touchdowns with only two interceptions ... Named all-West Valley Conference and to the all-city team ... Received the school's Most Valuable Senior Award, covering all sports ... Also played basketball.
