2003: Entered the season on the preseason watch lists for the Bronko Nagurski Award (outstanding defensive player), Rotary Lombardi Award (outstanding lineman or linebacker) and Butkus Award (linebacker) ... The Sporting News listed him as the nation's 13th best linebacker ... He was voted as a preseason All-America selection (second team) by Athlon's ... Finished fourth in the Mountain West with an average of 9.6 tackles per game and a total of 115 for the season ... Led the Mountain West with 1.33 tackles for loss per game and was second with 17 TFLs on the season ... Tied for the conference lead with four fumbles forced ...
