A versatile player who switched sides of the ball in each of his first three seasons at San Diego State ... Started as a tight end in 2011 where he worked behind 2013 NFL second-round draft pick Gavin Escobar ... Switched to the defensive side of the ball prior to the 2012 campaign and saw action on the defensive line in eight games ... Moved back over to tight end for his sophomore campaign, where he has been ever since and is the projected starter after spring drills.
