Moved from middle to outside linebacker in 2011 and has excelled there ever since ... A physical linebacker who always seems to be in the right place at the right time ... Has played in all 39 games over the past three seasons after not playing as a true freshman in 2009 ... His 39 appearances since 2010 tie Jordan Thomas for the most on the team.

2012: Started 12 of the team's 13 contests and played in all 13 ... Had 52 tackles on the year and led the team with 12.0 tackles for loss ... Also added 3.0 sacks and a forced fumble ... Was on the midseason all-Mountain West second team by Phil Steele ... Earned his first career start in the team's opener at Washington, recording four tackles, including 2.0 for a loss ... Started again vs. Army and had six tackles, including 0.5 TFL ... Had a game-high seven stops, including 1.5 TFL, in the win vs. North Dakota ... Had a solid all-around contest vs. San Jose State with four tackles, 2.0 TFL, 1.0 sack and a forced fumble ... Did not start at Fresno State because of a broken hand, but still had two tackles ... In his first collegiate game, tied for the team lead with five tackles against Nicholls, including a sack and 1.5 TFLs ... Four tackles at No. 25 Missouri ... Two solos in the win over Utah State ... Three tackles with one for a loss in his first career MWC game at BYU ... Made his first career start vs. Air Force ... First career fumble recovery at New Mexico ... Posted a 15-yard sack on Wyoming's final play of the game ... Had one stop at TCU ... Tied his career high with five tackles against UNLV ... Four tackles vs. Navy.

High School: Set Atascadero High's single-season rushing touchdown record with 27 touchdowns and finished his career with 3,533 rushing yards ... Earned The Tribune player-of-the-year honors in 2008 ... Named the Pac-7 League MVP his senior season ... An all-CIF Southern Section tailback selection in 2008 ... The 2008 San Luis Obispo County MVP ... A first-team San Luis Obispo County tailback after his senior season ... Finished 2008 third on the team with 60 tackles and a sack ... As a junior, was named the Pac-7 League offensive back of the year and was a first-team offense selection.
