Aztec Football Fan Fest Set for Aug. 19

SAN DIEGO - San Diego State Football will honor its fans with its annual Fan Fest prior to a scrimmage at Qualcomm Stadium on Sat., Aug. 19.
Admission to the Fan Fest is free of charge.
Fan Fest begins at 4:30 p.m. on the Qualcomm Stadium concourse behind the Aztec Ticket Office. Attendees can interact with other San Diego State athletic programs, enjoy inflatable games and partake in concessions. Aztec Shops will also hold an equipment sale and the first 2,500 fans will receive a free Aztec Football schedule cup that can be filled with a fountain drink at concessions stands for $3.
Fans are asked to enter the Fan Fest through Qualcomm Stadium’s Gate E.
The Aztecs will begin warming up on the field at 5 p.m. prior to the scrimmage, which gets underway at 5:30 p.m. Following the scrimmage, the team’s seniors will be available for autographs on the field. Those interested in on-field autographs should enter via Plaza 42/43.
SDSU is coming off an 11-3 season, knocking off Wyoming, 27-24, in the MW Championship game and Houston, 34-10, in the Las Vegas Bowl, to finish with a No. 25 ranking in both the AP Top 25 poll and the Amway Coaches Poll. It was just the second time that San Diego State has been ranked in the final AP poll in program history (also 1977). The 11 wins tied a school single-season record as the Aztecs became the first team in program history with back-to-back 11-win campaigns.
2017 Aztec football season tickets and mini plans are now on sale. Season tickets start at $125, while mini plans start at $90.
