Hooley's to Host Weekly 'Aztec Coaches Show'

SAN DIEGO - The San Diego State athletic department, Hooley's Irish Pub and Grill and the flagship radio station for the Aztecs, The Mighty 1090, have teamed up to host the "Aztec Coaches Show" this season with head coach Rocky Long.
The show will air Wednesday's from 7-8 p.m. PT on either The Mighty 1090 or 105.7 The Walrus, and will be held live from Hooley's in La Mesa's Grossmont Center. The show, which will give fans the chance to listen to and interact with Coach Long, can also be heard on GoAztecs.com. The weekly radio show will debut this Wednesday, Aug. 28, at 7 p.m. PT, and can be heard on 105.7 The Walrus. Fans are encouraged to come listen to coach Long preview each week's upcoming game, and discuss everything related to Aztec football.
The radio show follows Happy Hour at Hooley's, which runs from 3-7 p.m. on Tuesday through Sunday. More information about specials can be found here.

San Diego State begins its 2013 season this Saturday, Aug. 31, against Eastern Illinois, beginning at 5 p.m. PT at Qualcomm Stadium, and can be heard on 105.7 The Walrus. In addition, The KGB SkyShow, the largest fireworks display in San Diego, will be held after the game.
Tickets for the game and SkyShow are available at the Aztec Ticket Office at Qualcomm Stadium all this week. The ticket office, located at Qualcomm Window "E," is open 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Wednesday, 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Thursday and 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Friday. Season tickets and single-game tickets can also be purchased online through GoAztecs.com, or over the phone by calling (619) 283-7378.
The Aztecs return 17 starters from its 2012 team that finished 9-4 overall and 7-1 in Mountain West play, claimed its 19th conference championship in school history and played in a bowl game for a school-record third consecutive year.
