SAN DIEGO - With a little more than 24 hours left before the matchup between San Diego State and Hawai'i, Aztec athletic department officials are expecting a large crowd with the 37th annual KGB SkyShow set to take place following the contest.
Fans are advised to get their tickets early and can do so on Friday until 5 p.m., at the Aztec Ticket Office at Qualcomm Stadium's Window E or until 4:30 p.m., at the Viejas Arena box office on the SDSU campus. Tickets, which start at just $11, are also available online 24 hours a day through GoAztecs.com. On Saturday, the ticket office at "The Q" will open at 12 p.m. for the general public and San Diego State students.
This marks the ninth consecutive year that the fireworks extravaganza has been held in conjunction with an Aztec football game, with the previous eight outings drawing an average of 51,090 fans. Last season, SDSU drew a regular-season record 57,286 fans.
