* The Aztecs are one of 13 undefeated teams this season. Only three of those teams (SDSU, Georgia and Washington) have played at least three road games.
* San Diego State has won eight straight games (fourth-longest active streak in FBS), and is 14-2 in its last 16 games and 27-3 in its last 30 contests.
* At 6-0, the Aztecs are off to their best start since 1975. SDSU has opened a season with six straight wins for just the fourth time in the Division I era (since 1969) and the seventh time in 95 seasons of football.
* San Diego State is nationally ranked for the fourth consecutive week (19 in the AP and 18 in the coaches poll). This marks the longest consecutive stretch in the AP poll for the Aztecs since being ranked five straight weeks during the 1970 season and the No. 19 ranking matches the highest for the program since Jan. 3, 1978.
* SDSU is ranked in the AP Top 25 for the 22nd time in its Division I era (since 1969). Eight of those top-25 appearances have occurred since Sept. 18, 2016.
* San Diego State is 20-2 in its last 22 games against Mountain West opponents.
* Senior running back/kickoff returner Rashaad Penny’s FBS season rankings: 1st in all-purpose yards (1,325), 1st in all-purpose yards per game (220.83), T-1st in total touchdowns (12), T-1st in points scored (72), 2nd in rushing yards (993), 3rd in rushing yards per game (165.5), T-3rd in scoring (10.0) and T-4th in rushing touchdowns (9).
* Penny, who is tied for second nationally with six consecutive 100-yard rushing games, is tied for the fifth longest 100-yard game streak in school history.
* Junior quarterback Christian Chapman has gone a career-high 111 pass attempts since his last interception (a Hail Mary on the final play of the first half in the season opener. He is an SDSU DI record 19-3 as the starting quarterback.
* In three of its last four games, San Diego State has limited its opposition to 283 yards of offense or less. Since Sept. 16, the Aztecs are 17th nationally, allowing just 301.8 yards per game.
