SDSU Football Goes Go-Karting in Boise

The San Diego State football team competed in some friendly go-kart action Wednesday in its second day in Boise for the Famous Idaho Potato Bowl.
After an early practice outside that saw temperatures dip into the low 20's with light snow, the Aztecs headed over to the Fast Lane Indoor Kart Racing for go-kart racing.
Aaron Boesch put together the fastest time of the day of all SDSU races, posting a best lap of 22.499 seconds. Other San Diego State top-10 times (excluding repeat riders) on the day went to King Holder (23.217), Stan Sedberry (23.374), Joel Alesi (23.402), Breckon Bauer (23.475), Robert Craighead (23.504), Chase Price (23.542), Adam Roberts (23.615), Dwayne Garrett (23.634) and George Lamen (23.685).
Later tonight the Aztecs will pick up gifts at the gift suite and follow with an Agri beef steak and potatoes dinner from Agri Beef Co.
On Thursday, selected players will visit sick patients at St. Luke's Medical Center in the morning, then practice in the afternoon. SDSU players, staff and coaches will end Thursday's festivities with the Humanitarian Dinner.
San Diego State (7-5, 6-2 Mountain West) and Buffalo (8-4, 6-2 Mid-American Conference) will meet Saturday in the Famous Idaho Potato Bowl at 3:30 p.m. MT on ESPN.
