SAN DIEGO - The San Diego State men's soccer program will host its 2014 NIKE/Aztec Soccer Academy summer camp, July 10-13, at the SDSU campus. The Residential and Commuter Camp programs are open to any and all boys ages 13 and older, while the Full and Half Day Youth Camp components are open to any and all boys ages 6-12.

Camps are organized, run, and coached by current and former Aztec Soccer staff members and players with outside college coaches either assisting within the camp or attending training sessions and/or games.

The NIKE/Aztec Soccer Academy Residential/Commuter Camp is designed to familiarize each participant with the trainings and philosophies of the Aztec men's soccer program. Most training sessions are taken directly from Aztec men's soccer practice regimens; incorporating technical, tactical, and competitive exercises to fully develop each player's potential. In addition, there will be specialized goalkeeper training organized and run by associate head coach Matt Hall, one of the country's best goalkeeper trainers and US Soccer Youth National Team Scout.

The primary goal of the NIKE/Aztec Soccer Academy Youth Camp is to increase the participant's love for soccer, while increasing that individual's skill and knowledge of the world's most beautiful game. Campers will improve their skill development and tactical awareness in a competitively fun and educational environment.

Those interested can sign up here. All questions can be directed to coach Hall at or by phone at (619) 594-0463.
