SAN DIEGO - The San Diego State men's soccer team had six Aztecs named to CollegeSportsMadness.com's all-Pac-12 squad. The SDSU first-team group includes Kody Duff, Evyn Hewett, Jordan Ongaro and Blake Wise. Robbie Freise and Ata Ozbay, meanwhile, landed on the all-Pac-12 second team.

Duff was a consistent contributor for the Aztecs in conference play as he started all 10 contests on the year. The junior midfielder played a key part in SDSU outshooting its Pac-12 opponent on seven different occasions. The Roseville, Calif., native tallied 12 shots in conference play, including three on goal and added an assist at Oregon State (Oct. 28).

Hewett was also dependable for San Diego State this season in Pac-12 action, starting all 10 games at defender. The sophomore was instrumental in the Aztecs keeping conference opponents in check, which helped SDSU outshoot Pac-12 opponents by a 145-134 margin. In league play, Hewett tallied an assist vs. Washington and added two shots.

Ongaro is a first-team honoree after he scored one goal and put half of his 20 shots on goal during conference play. The junior's 20 attempts were tied with Kevin Bick for the second-most on the squad and his 10 shots on goal were also tied with Bick for the most on the roster.

Wise, meanwhile, scored a team-high-tying three goals in Pac-12 action. Of the junior's three goals, one was a game-winner in the Aztecs' 2-1 victory over California and another tied the score at 3-3 in what turned out to be a 4-3 defeat to then No. 4 UCLA.

Freise, who saw action in all 10 contests during conference play, was an important cog of the Aztec defense in 2012. Along with Hewett, the junior defender played a significant role in SDSU limiting its Pac-12 opponents from tallying shot attempts. He also tallied an assist vs. No. 4 UCLA and added two shots in conference play.

Rounding out the San Diego State honorees is Ozbay, who was one of just five Aztecs to start all 10 Pac-12 contests this season. The senior forward was not only a consistent starter, but tallied consistent numbers as well. He tallied a goal vs. then-No. 4 UCLA (Oct. 12) and added assists vs. California (Nov. 1) and at then-No. 5 UCLA (Nov. 9).
