Singles - Compiled a 3-3 record in the fall... Reached the quarterfinals at the ITA Western Regionals... In the round of 64, he defeated Pepperdine's Kevin Borzenski, 6-2, 6-4... Downed Andy Colombo of Arizona State, 6-4, 6-2, in the round of 32... Received a free pass in the round of 16 when Pepperdine's Pedro Rico withdrew... Lost to eventual champion Ben Kohlloeffel of UCLA, 6-2, 6-4.

Doubles - Posted a 4-3 record with Markus Dickhardt... Defeated Felsenthal/Kindervater of Alabama, 8-3, in the prequalifying round of 64 at the ITA All-American tournament... Reached the round of 16 by beating Edlefsen/Geatz of Minnesota-Twin Cities, 8-1... Notched a 9-7 victory over San Diego's Blair/Koristovic at USD's Surf and Volley Challenge... Advanced to the round of 16 at the ITA Western Championships with their 8-5 win over LMU's Cicenas/Raja... Had to forfeit to eventual champions from UCLA Francis/Kwinta due to injury in the round of 16.

Earned first letter at SDSU... Was named to the 2004 MWC all-academic team.
Singles - Completed the season with a 10-8 record...Played most of his matches at number five singles... His 10 wins were the fourth-most on the team... Defeated Timo Kienle of San Francisco in a super tie break, 6-7 (2), 6-4, 10-3... Recorded one of five singles victories for the Aztecs over UC San Diego.. .Beat Vladimir Zdravkovic of Pacific, 7-5, 6-2... Won his third straight and clinched the match with win over Princeton's David Gopstein at number five, 2-6, 6-2, 6-4... Tallied a straight sets victory, 6-3, 6-4, over Middle Tennessee State's Trevor Short... Notched a win during a day in which the Aztecs won five of six singles matches in a 5-1 victory over Brigham Young... Had a dominating 6-1, 6-0, performance over Sky Jensen of the Air Force Academy... Performed well against New Mexico's Hiroud Akhavan in a 6-3, 7-6, 1-0, win... In the MWC quarterfinals, clinched the match at number five with a 6-3, 6-3, win over Justin Lau of Air Force to help advance the Aztecs in the tournament.

Doubles - Finished season at 12-5 while playing with three different partners (Markus Dickhardt, Felix Hardt, Daniel Jung)... Recorded a 9-3 record, mostly at number three doubles... The nine victories were the second-most on the squad behind No. 52 Ryan Redondo and Felix Hardt (10)... With Jung at number two, defeated San Francisco's Pires De Almeida/Van Rillas, 8-3... One of three Aztec teams to notch win in doubles sweep of San Diego... Clinched doubles point with Felix Hardt at the number one position with an 8-4 win over Pacific's Sigurdsson/Maack... Beat UCLA's Clemens/Lam, 8-3, with Dickhardt, in Los Angeles... Wrapped up doubles point with 8-4 win over Yale's No. 2 team... Defeated Middle Tennessee State's Kuruppu/Siljestrom, 8-6, in an Aztec victory over the 59th-ranked team... Won fourth consecutive with Dickhardt alongside when they downed Santa Clara's Ben Hildago and Eric Kochanski, 8-1... Played a close match throughout in a 8-6 win over Evan Fowler and Clinton Jackson of 62nd-ranked South Alabama... Breezed to a 8-2 victory over Air Force's Dong/Lau with Dickhardt as his partner... Competed at number two against Joel Kielbowicz and Aviram Salomon of UNLV in the MWC semifinals and beat them 8-4, to help the Aztecs reach the championship final... Clinched the point with Dickhardt at side by defeating Divan Coetzee/Hiroud Akhavan of New Mexico, 8-3, in the MWC final.

Prior to SDSU
Attended UC Irvine for his freshman year... Went 1-5 in singles play and 0-3 in doubles action... The record is somewhat misleading, as Haynes battled opponents from UCLA, USC and Fresno State... Played in two dual singles matches and two dual doubles matches.
