Men's Tennis Travels to Hawaii

SAN DIEGO - The No. 66 San Diego State Men's Tennis team returns to the court this week in Honolulu, Hawaii, as the Aztecs face Hawai'i on Thursday at 2 p.m. HT, and take on Pacific on Saturday beginning at 10 a.m. HT.
The Aztecs split two dual matches last weekend in Fresno, Calif. SDSU (4-3, 1-0 MW) topped Fresno State, 4-2, in its Mountain West Conference opener on Friday, and lost to No. 22 Auburn, 6-1, on Saturday. Highlighting last weekend's action was Derek Siddiqui, who went 2-0 in singles play. The senior is now 5-2 in singles action this dual season, and is currently ranked No. 104 in the nation.
Hawai'i has won two-consecutive matches and is 2-2 overall this season. SDSU last played Hawai'i in 2011, where the Warriors knocked off the Aztecs, 5-2, at Aztec Tennis Center.
Pacific is 4-2 this season and has won three of its last four matches, including a 4-3 victory over Saint Mary's on Sunday. The Aztecs defeated the Tigers last season, 6-1, at the Hilton San Diego Mission Valley Spring Classic.
