San Diego State vs. St. Mary's
San Diego State Head Coach Jim Tomey:
On tonight's game:
"I believe in the kids we have here and they were able to give us 20 pretty darn good minutes, but they are going to have to learn how to give us 40. That is part of growing as a player and a team. Hopefully, we will learn from this and figure out how to win these close games."
On SDSU shooting performance:
"We are going to have to shoot the ball better than we did tonight. We had better shooters on the floor than the way we shot tonight. We have to find a way to confidently shoot the ball."
On Saint Mary's performance in the second-half comeback:
"They just played with more heart, more energy and more aggression than our girls played with. We struggled to find it coming out of halftime."
