The San Diego State women's basketball team wraps up the non-conference portion of its 2012-13 schedule on Wednesday when it plays host to Savannah State at Viejas Arena. Tip-off is set for 2 p.m. PST.

-SDSU Head Coach Beth Burns: Burns (Ohio Wesleyan, 1979) is in the eighth year of her second stint as head coach at San Diego State. She led the Aztecs for eight seasons from 1989 to 1997, before returning in 2005. She has an overall head coaching record of 357-248 in 21 seasons, and she is 276-183 in her 16 campaigns at SDSU.
-Savannah State Head Coach Cedric Baker: Baker (Voorhees College, 1990) is in his 10th year at the helm of the Lady Tigers and sports a 90-180 record with the school, while his career mark stands at 259-294 in 22 seasons.
-Series History: Wednesday's game will be the first meeting ever between the Aztecs and Lady Tigers. In addition, the Scarlet and Black has never faced a team from the Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference.
-Up Next: SDSU will have a week off before opening its Mountain West slate against Fresno State on Wednesday, Jan. 9, at Viejas Arena. Tip-off is set for 7 p.m.
