-The Records: San Diego State resumes action after a 10-day break, as the Aztecs open conference play on the road Wednesday at TCU, beginning at 6:30 p.m. CT. SDSU completed its non-conference campaign with a 9-3 record, including a 77-72 victory over Western Michigan in the consolation game of the San Diego Surf `N Slam Classic on Dec. 30. TCU, meanwhile, is an even 7-7 this season with victories in each of its last two contests. The Lady Frogs have played four games against teams currently ranked in the AP top 25, including a win over No. 25 Oklahoma State.

The Aztecs are beginning their league slate on the road for the third year in a row and the fifth time since the MWC started in 1999-2000.

-SDSU Head Coach Beth Burns: Burns (Ohio Wesleyan, 1979) is in the third year of her second stint as head coach at San Diego State. She led the Aztecs for eight seasons from 1989 to 1997, before returning in 2005. She has an overall head coaching record of 256-191 in 15 seasons, while she is 175-126 in her 10 previous campaigns at SDSU.

-TCU Head Coach Jeff Mittie: Mittie is in ninth season with the Lady Frogs, boasting a current record of 180-90. His career mark is 331-149 in 16 campaigns.

-TCU Series History: TCU has won the last five meetings between the two sides, including all four since the Lady Frogs joined the MWC in 2006. TCU leads the all-time series at 6-2 and is 4-0 in games played in Fort Worth (Last: TCU def. SDSU, 78-61, in San Diego on Feb. 28, 2007).
