Game Notes vs. Fresno State
The San Diego State women's basketball team opens its Mountain West slate on Wednesday, Jan. 9, when it plays host to Fresno State at Viejas Arena. Game time is set for 7 p.m. PST.
The first 500 fans in attendance will receive a free Aztec basketball t-shirt.

-SDSU Head Coach Beth Burns: Burns (Ohio Wesleyan, 1979) is in the eighth year of her second stint as head coach at San Diego State. She led the Aztecs for eight seasons from 1989 to 1997, before returning in 2005. She has an overall head coaching record of 358-248 in 21 seasons, and she is 277-183 in her 16 campaigns at SDSU.
-Fresno State Head Coach Raegan Pebley: Pebley (Colorado, 1997) is in her first season at the helm of the Bulldogs after a nine-year stint as head coach at Utah State where she compiled a record of 110-155. Pebley also played two seasons in the WNBA for the Utah Starzz and the Cleveland Rockers.
-Series History: The Aztecs lead the all-time series 23-10. However, the two teams have not faced one another since the 2002-03 campaign, as Fresno State embarks on its inaugural Mountain West season.
