SAN DIEGO- With sole possession of first place on the line, the San Diego State women's basketball team travels to the Central Valley for a crucial showdown against Mountain West co-leader Fresno State on Saturday, Feb. 9, beginning at 5 p.m. PT.

-SDSU Head Coach Beth Burns: Burns (Ohio Wesleyan, 1979) is in the eighth year of her second stint as head coach at San Diego State. She led the Aztecs for eight seasons from 1989 to 1997, before returning in 2005. She has an overall head coaching record of 365-249 in 21 seasons, and she is 284-184 in her 16 campaigns at SDSU.
-Fresno State Head Coach Raegan Pebley: Pebley (Colorado, 1997) is in her first season at the helm of the Bulldogs after a nine-year stint as head coach at Utah State where she compiled a record of 110-155. Pebley also played two seasons in the WNBA for the Utah Starzz and the Cleveland Rockers.
-Series History: The Aztecs lead the all-time series 23-11 and are 7-7 in their 14 previous trips to Fresno.
