-The Records: Coming off its first loss in five outings, the San Diego State women's basketball team looks to begin an new win streak when it travels to Albuquerque, N.M. for a Wednesday evening game against New Mexico, beginning at 7 p.m. MT. The Aztecs and Lobos are currently tied for fifth place in the league standings with identical 4-5 marks with New Mexico, who is 12-10 overall, winning the first go around last month, 60-47, at Cox Arena. SDSU has won each of its last two conference road games at UNLV and at Air Force, but is looking for its first victory in The Pit since 1995.

-SDSU Head Coach Beth Burns: Burns (Ohio Wesleyan, 1979) is in the third year of her second stint as head coach at San Diego State. She led the Aztecs for eight seasons from 1989 to 1997, before returning in 2005. She has an overall head coaching record of 260-196 in 15 seasons, while she is 179-131 in her 10 previous campaigns at SDSU.

-New Mexico Head Coach Don Flanagan: Flanagan is in his 13th season at New Mexico. His school and career coaching record is 275-123.

-New Mexico Series History: New Mexico leads the series 23-13, including a 10-5 mark in Albuquerque. The Lobos have claimed the last 17 contests with the most recent SDSU win coming in 2001. (Last: New Mexico def. San Diego State, 60-47, on Jan. 12, 2008, in San Diego, Calif.).
