SAN DIEGO - The San Diego State women's basketball team continues its postseason run on Saturday when it faces former Mountain West rival Brigham Young on the road in the second round of the WNIT. The contest will be held at the Marriott Center in Provo, Utah, beginning at 2 p.m. MT (1 p.m. PT).

The winner of Saturday's contest will meet the victor of the Saint Mary's-Northern Colorado clash in the third round, with the date, location and time to be determined.

The Aztecs opened WNIT play with an impressive 69-46 victory over UC Santa Barbara in their first-round matchup on Wednesday at Viejas Arena, setting a program record with 27 victories in a single season.

Against the Gauchos, senior Courtney Clements scored a career-high 31 points, highlighted by a personal-best seven 3-point field goals. In addition, fellow classmate Chelsea Hopkins aided the SDSU cause with 13 points, eight rebounds and eight assists, while sophomore Erimma Amarikwa finished with nine points and six boards.

Earlier in the week, Chelsea Hopkins and Courtney Clements were named to the WBCA All-Region VII Team. With the recognition, the two SDSU guards are among an exclusive list of 52 candidates who will be considered for the WBCA All-America Team to be revealed on April 6, in New Orleans, La.
