Aztec Basketball Head Coach Beth Burns Tabbed For YWCA Award

SAN DIEGO - Aztec women's basketball head coach Beth Burns has been selected to receive the YWCA's Tribute to Women and Industry (TWIN) award for her outstanding achievements, leadership and contributions to her profession. The honor is given out annually in San Diego County to women in executive, professional and managerial positions.
Burns will receive her award at the 29th Annual TWIN Awards Luncheon on Friday, June 27, at the San Diego Convention Center, beginning at noon in ballroom 20. Since 1980, almost 2,400 businesswomen have been honored with the event raising more than $1.8 million to support YWCA programs.
