SDSU Game Notes - Jack In The Box Rainbow Wahine Classic Get Acrobat Reader

Following a season-opening win over Arkansas-Pine Bluff on Monday, the San Diego State women's basketball team will be put to the test early as it plays three games in three days at the Jack In The Box Rainbow Wahine Classic in Honolulu, Nov. 18-20.

The Aztecs will face their first ranked opponent in their second game of the season when they take on No. 18/18 DePaul on Friday. SDSU will then play host Hawai'i on Saturday, followed by the closing contest on Sunday vs. Portland.

-SDSU Head Coach Beth Burns: Burns (Ohio Wesleyan, 1979) is in the seventh year of her second stint as head coach at San Diego State. She led the Aztecs for eight seasons from 1989 to 1997, before returning in 2005. She has an overall head coaching record of 325-237 in 20 seasons, while she is 244-172 in her 15 campaigns at SDSU.

-DePaul Head Coach Doug Bruno: Bruno is in his 26th season as coach of the Blue Demons and has a career of 529-301 (28 years) and school record of 487-271.

-Hawai'i Head Coach Dana Takahara-Dias: Takahara-Dias is in her third year at the helm of the Rainbow Wahine and has compiled an overall record of 22-39 entering this week.

-Portland Head Coach Jim Sollars: Sollars boasts a 35-year career record of 528-457, including a mark of 351-375 in 25 years with the Pilots.

-Series Histories: SDSU has played both DePaul (1-0) and Portland (0-1) once previously, while it will face Hawai'i for the 26th time in school history (13-12)
