Aztecs Conclude Waikiki Beach Marriott Classic Sunday Vs. No. 25/22 Iowa St.

The San Diego State women's basketball team will look to leave Hawaii with three straight victories, as the Aztecs face their toughest challenge since leaving the mainland on Sunday, when they take on the No. 25/22 Iowa State Cyclones at 11 a.m. HT. SDSU is playing its fourth game this week and will look to stay perfect at the Waikiki Beach Marriott Classic, following earlier victories over host Hawai'i (71-48) and Prairie View A&M (58-53).

The Cyclones are the Aztecs' second-ranked opponent this season and a victory over Iowa State would be the team's first in the all-time series and first over a Big 12 team since defeating Kansas State back in December 1997. The Cyclones are 1-1 thus far at this week's tournament, downing Prairie View A&M, 75-59, before falling to No. 5/6 Stanford, 83-45, on Saturday afternoon to drop to 4-1 on the year.

This Sunday's game will be SDSU's final non-conference contest away from home, as the Aztecs spend the entire month of December at Cox Arena for the third year in a row.

A live audio feed with Chris Ello and live stats will be available on goaztecs.com.
