SAN DIEGO - The San Diego State rowing team concluded competition at the 41st annual San Diego Crew Classic on Sunday. The Aztecs participated in three races on the final day of the regatta.

The second and final day of competition at the annual event got underway at 8:50 am for SDSU as the Women's Collegiate Four + petite race began. San Diego State crossed the finish line in fifth place with a time of 7 minutes, 57.76 seconds, about five seconds ahead of Old Dominion.

The varsity eight crew from SDSU got back on the water to row in the Women's Collegiate Varsity Cal Cup petite race at 9:10 am. The crew finished fifth in a tight race with a time of 7:10.63. The Aztecs came within two seconds of second through fourth place finishers.

The last race of the day came in the Women's Collegiate 4+ B Final. SDSU recorded a time of 8:49.42 and finished behind competitors from the Pac-12, West Coast Conference and Conference USA.

Next up, San Diego State will compete in the W.I.R.A. Championships April 26-27.
