Women's Crew Continues Season In Los Angeles

The San Diego State women's crew team continues its schedule this weekend competing against Southern California and the University of Victoria (Canada). The event will be held Saturday at the Port of Los Angeles with racing getting underway at 9:15 a.m. with the Novice Four competition.

This Week's Competition
Saturday's event is the season opener for USC who earned a preseason ranking of seventh by Sports Illustrated for Women. Victoria is Canada's top-ranked collegiate program.

SDSU Rowing Lately
The Aztecs come off a East coast road swing in which they posted second- and third-place finishes against Virginia last Saturday at Rivanna Reservoir. The Aztecs finished second in the varsity eight with a time of 7:24 and third in the second varsity eight competition clocking in at 8:00.

Looking Ahead
SDSU keeps busy with the San Diego City Championships being held March 31 and the San Diego Crew Classic April 7-8. Both events will be held in Mission Bay.
