2013-14 SEASON (As a junior): Garnered all-Mountain West accolades for the second year in a row after receiving second-team recognition ... Finished third on the squad with a 76.41 stroke average, which ranked 14th in the league ... Posted three top-20 performances on the year, highlighted by season-best 10th-place effort at the MW Championship (April 24-26) ... Carded the Aztecs' second-lowest score of the tournament with a combined 9-over 225 ...Was SDSU's top finisher at the Peg Barnard Invitational, where she tied for 15th with a collective 6-over 148 ... Helped the Aztecs capture their lone team title of the year at the Las Vegas Collegiate Showdown after tying for the 13th position at 1-over 145 (Oct. 27-29) ... Also competed in postseason play for the second straight season at the NCAA West Regional Championships, where she landed in a tie for 75th at 21-over 237 (May 8-10).
2012-13 SEASON (As a sophomore): Capped off her first season as an Aztec in style, tying for 19th out of 126 players at the NCAA Central Regional Championships (May 9-11) ... Earned first-team all-Mountain West honors after joining the squad during the semester break ... Maintained a 76.25 stroke average in all seven events during the spring schedule, which ranked third on the team and 13th in the conference ... Posted five top-25 performances overall, including two in the top six ... Recorded her highest finish of the season with a fifth-place showing at the inaugural Cal Classic (Feb. 25-26) ... Also turned in a solid sixth-place effort at the MW Championship (April 25-27).
2011-12 SEASON (As a freshman): Competed in three events and nine rounds during her freshman campaign at the University of Arizona ... Recorded her two lowest rounds of the year with a pair of 73s on day one of the Windy City Intercollegiate where she finished in a tie for 21st at 8-over 224 (Oct. 3-4) ... Also cracked the starting lineup at the Pac-12/SEC Challenge, posting a combined 19-over 235 (Oct. 21-23) ... Played in one tournament as an individual competitor during the spring schedule, tying for 56th at the Wildcat Invitational with a collective 241 (Feb. 5-7).
PRIOR TO COLLEGE: Was twice honored by the Future Collegians World Tour as the West Region Player of Year during a standout stint in the junior ranks ... Also garnered FCWT All-America accolades on two occasions ... Captured medalist honors at both the Golfweek Junior Orange Tree Open and the Golfweek Junior Trilogy in 2011 ... Posted additional victories at the Colorado Junior Stroke Play (2010), the AJGA Stockton Sports Commission Classic (2009) and the IJGT ASU Karsten Junior Tournament (2008) ... Qualified for the Junior PGA Championship on four occasions and was a three-time U.S. Girls' Junior Amateur participant ... Also competed as a member of the Junior America's Cup and the Colorado Junior All-Star teams.
PERSONAL: Daughter of Dan and Annette Spiranac ... Plans to major in communication at SDSU ... Was also a former competitive gymnast, who spent time at the Karolyi Ranch in Huntsville, Texas, site of the U.S. team training center ... Comes from a very athletic family, as her father played free safety on the University of Pittsburgh's national championship team in 1976, while her mother was a professional ballet dancer ... Also has a sister, Lexie, who competed in track and rowing at Stanford.
