LAS VEGAS - High winds have forced the cancellation of Monday's second round of the Las Vegas Collegiate Showdown, where the San Diego State women's golf team is competing in its final tournament of the 2013 fall schedule. The event is slated to resume with final-round action on Tuesday, beginning at 8 a.m. PT.

The Aztecs are currently tied for second with Minnesota in the team standings, two shots in back of host school UNLV, after carding a combined 2-over 290 during the opening round on Sunday at the par-72, 6,261-yard Stallion Mountain Golf Club.

Two SDSU players currently find themselves among the individual top 10, including freshman Sirene Blair (South Jordan, Utah), who sits in a seven-way tie for second after firing an opening-round 71, while junior Paige Spiranac (Scottsdale, Ariz.) is tied for ninth at even-par 72.
