SDSU Closes Out Fall Campaign In Hawaii
The San Diego State women's golf team closes out its 2007 fall campaign this Tuesday and Wednesday at the 19-team Kent Youel Invitational in Kapolei, Hawaii. The Aztecs will play the 54-hole tournament at the par-72, 6,140-yard Kapolei Golf Course. Teams will play 36 holes on Tuesday, followed by the final 18 holes Wednesday. Both days will feature shotgun starts at 7:30 a.m. HT.

The Aztecs' competition includes seven teams ranked in the current top 50 of the Golf Week/Sagarin rankings, including top-ranked UCLA and No. 4 USC.

This is SDSU's first of two trips to Oahu this season, as the team will also compete in the Dr. Donnis Thompson Invitational in mid-March 2008.

Five Aztecs Headed To The Islands
A contingent of three freshmen and two juniors will represent the Aztecs at this week's Kent Youel Invitational. Juniors Alana Erlandson (Palm Desert, Calif.) and Maki Kamimura (West Covina, Calif.) will be joined by true freshmen Stephanie Arcala (Oceanside, Calif.), Kaitlen Miyajima (Wailuku, Hawaii) and Samantha Roberts (Carlsbad, Calif.).

Erlandson, Kamimura and Miyajima were both members of the `A' squad two weeks ago at the Aztec Fall Classic, while Arcala and Roberts were the top two finishers on the `B' squad.

Kamimura is the lone SDSU player in this week's lineup with previous experience at the Kent Youel Invite, as she placed 60th as a freshman in 2005, and 31st a year ago as a sophomore.
